I wouldn't say for fun, but I will not deny that it is a large part of my job.
I am disappointed though...I thought for certain that you were the kind who wouldn't let people tell you what to do, or who's company to enjoy. [Tarn sighs] A pity.
[Tarn looks more or less the same as when Luke last saw him with the exception of a few more chips and scratches across his mask. That, and a patched expanse of plating across his chest and abdomen.]
[Tarn doesn't seem even the slightest bit intimidated.]
That might be difficult seeing as even if you were to kill me I would just come back in a few days. That would certainly put a bit of a wrench on your plan.
But, worry not, Tailgate will remain under my protection for as long as he remains a loyal Decepticon.
Oustanding, Tailgate! That's quite the achievement for your first battle; you should be very pleased with yourself. I dare say that you will be even more successful the next time you find yourself in combat.
I'm very proud of you.
[For once there is something similar to genuine warmth in Tarn's voice.]
[Tarn doesn't respond right away. He can't for the life of him figure out why Tailgate would ask to live with him. He's sure that there are other Cybertronians with vacancies in their quarters.
After a moment of thought, Tarn realizes that this actually works in his favor. If tailgate is rooming with him he can keep a closer watch on his fellow Decepticon's habits and keep his socializing with the Autobots to a minimum. It's the perfect opportunity to begin grooming Tailgate into a model Decepticon.
Best to play it cool. He can't seem overeager otherwise Tailgate suspect something.]
Are you certain, Tailgate? I'm not what one would consider to be the life of the party.

[GUESS WHO'S A LITTLE PUT OUT.]
That's too bad too, because you seemed really cool.

Every person ever says you're bad news. It's only right to listen to them. You can keep the flower vase though.

I'm going to assume the answer is no, since I'm not sure you can read this.
[Do you get to use your MID while in jail? Guess this is a good time to find out.]
no subject
I will notify Soundwave that I have ordered you to report to him in my absence.
[ Sorry Tailgate. Turns out Tarn does get to keep his MID.]

can't you at least lighten the workload by half?
I feel like that'd be the most fair

If you ever so much as try to harm Tailgate then I will make certain that you can never attempt it again.

And I didn't say anything about killing you.

[No one else seems very happy with Tailgate's accomplishments, so Tailgate turns to the one person he knows would be okay with it.]
I think I would have gotten more, but I got distracted.

Re: audio
Everyone else seems very disappointed in me, and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
I mean, that's what we were supposed to do, right? Kill things?
But people get upset when I do it! That's unfair.

because I think I just made a terrible mistake
what would you have done?
I need some romance advice here.
Re: text
That may not be the best choice. As you might expect, I'm not one to have much experience with romance-- I'm far to busy for such frivolity.
But, from what I do know, relationships are supposed to be built on a foundation of trust are they not?
[This is probably why Tarn has not had good luck]
Re: text
yeah
trust
ok so if you were a big, cool, and stoic warrior what would be the best way to change your mind after you said no

How do you feel about getting a new roommate?
Pleaaase?

Re: audio
[Tailgate says, not bothering to deny Tarn's inability to party down.]
But you and me? I think we go great together!
Also I'm bringing Scourge with me, so you'll get two roommates for the price of one! Isn't that great?
